Hepatitis C Resource Centre:About

From Hepatitis C Resource Centre

Quality Information, Support & Advocacy for those infected with and affected by hepatitis C

We provide services in the Auckland/Tai Tokerau area (i.e., everywhere north of the Bombay Hills), which accounts for about 33 per cent of the NZ population.

We also answer helpline calls from throughout the North Island, deliver education programmes and support local groups outside the funded area. Both newsletters and information packs are provided nationally, on request.

Obtaining and maintaining Government funding is very time consuming. We also receive donations, make application to other funding sources, such as charitable trusts, and, as time allows, engage in independent fundraising activities.

Currently, Hepatitis C Resource Centre receives the majority of its annual income from The Ministry of Health.
